to control total number that we have printed, I use Departement ID and print page total weekly, so that we can see who is (user/id) that use printer mostly.

To Print out the Department ID Print totals:
              1. Select Additional Functions on the Control Panel.
              2. Select System Settings.
              3. Department ID Management.
              4. Select On
              5. Select Print Totals Page Totals.
              6. Print List

              or
The Job Log is one way to keep track of the jobs sent to the imageRUNNER for printing. It shows details such as the User ID (Network ID), Time, Application, Size, Pages, etc.
Another way is to use a third-party software interface. One possibility is a company called Equitrac. They make a software interface that prompts you for a ID/PW when sending a print job, and tracks the print jobs as well.
NOTE: Canon does NOT support this third-party interface.

              COPY JOBS
              --------------------
In order to track the Copy Jobs, Dept ID Management must be set up on the machine. Each time a copy job is done, the imageRUNNER will prompt you for a User ID and Password. These jobs are tracked and can be viewed under the Dept ID Management located under the Additional Functions > Custom Common Settings Option

1 Press [System Monitor] select the job type ([Copy] or [Print]).

              2 Press [Log] [Print List].
