    [Error Code] canon irc3380i. E0747 and E0732

Hi all, I have intermittent faults on an irc3380i with E0747-c000 and E0732-000. Followed manuals advise and reseated main controller and all it's satallite pcb's. Now working as before but when you send a print job to the machine it goes into reboot (no errors showing in service mode) copies fine. Ordered main controller as precaution. Any ideas?

Could be a NIC card problem, did you clean the contacts with alcohol and a lint free cloth when you took them out - it could be anything from a poor contact to crud in the contact.

Worst case is a damaged card.

re-check and re-seat the Sub SJ-A PCB located in slot J1011 on the Main Controller. The Sub SJ-A PCB handles Scanner Interfacing (communication) signals back and forth between the Scanner (Reader) and the Printer.

Before you start replacing boards or cables for the E732 error, first check the intermediate connector on the rear of the molex connector for the Reader to make sure it has not disconnected. The cable is tight and could possibly disconnect. This harness supplies the 13 and 24 Volts from J212 of the Controller Power Supply PCB for the Reader Unit. Please see the picture below/red arrow.
