Canon IR6800cn will not power up

    Hi all

I went to a Canon IR6800cn last week that would not power up.

The green LED on the control panel is lit when switched on with the main power button on the rear right side of the machine but nothing happens apart from a click sound.

I can only suspect a faulty DC Power Supply?

    Thanks

      Hi

Yes i checked the fuses all ok. . .

I check DC controller PCB voltage at the only connector I could see 24v 5.5v etc markings on and none were present. .

They also inform me that this only happened after they moved the machibne into a different room . . .

      Thanks

hi,if everythig is ok,try to check all the wires to see if there one wire which is causing short circuit, just to chech nicely,if not try to reset the chip or change the mother board.

              Hi

I checked there was AC 240v from power in to the DC Power Supply assembly. . .

I never checked the buttons, well only by pressing to make sure none was pushed down. . .
