Canon IR 3570 phantom jam

    Canon IR 3570 phantom jam

    I have a Canon Ir 3570 that say open right door and remove jam. There is no paper present and the sensors are clean and sound. Has anyone seen this problem, thanks

    is there a JAM CODE in service mode ?

      Check the registration flag sensor.
      If the flag is worn it shortens the length and get's hooked up on the frame.
      Even worse if it's got one of those metal clips on them....the clip opens and catches the frame and it holds the sensor in the up position.
      Go into I.O. mode and check for an open sensor.

        check the lates Jam code (No.1) on service mode, click on Jam Code to see related sensor that may cause Jam (SensorNo = PSxx), then Check on I/O sensor to see whether that related sensor (PSxx) working or not (ON/OFF).

          I face this kind of problem before,,You can try the sensor that located inside the transfer roller ass'y is a duplex sensor!!hope will help u
