i have a cust who is using the adf for cheques scanning. the scanner never scans the entire cheque. the model in question is a ir 3080, though I've tested other models, same result. Is there s service mode setting or user setting that can make the scanner/ dadf scan an entire cheque. The size is 8 1/2 x 5. Thanks!

hope you are loading them in the R direction (like a Legal sheet).
An Ir 600 customer would cheat the feeder by opening the guides to Letter size and put a box of staples against one edge,to keep the documents straight.
3080 should be centre feed, so there should be no problem closing the guides to STMTR and feed correctly.Comment

Yes ,you have to cheat the ADF for the irregular size of the cheques.
Put the ADF guide to STMTR (8,5 X 5,5 ) and put an 0,5" thick book on the side to keep it straight.Comment
