System Software via USB - Anyone use it?

Noticed that a lot of people use SST on the laptop and connect it to the machine that way.

Just curious if anyone just does it via USB? I find that I end up doing the 2380 range quite a lot so decided to use a USB stick, its a hell of a lot easier and so much quicker...

I use it a lot.

It is strange though that not all USB-s work.
