    1) Remove two screws [1], and open the escape door [2].

    2) Remove three screws [1], and detach the escape tray cover [2].

    Removing the Grate-shaped Upper Guide
    1) Lower tray [1] below the grate-shaped upper guide [2].
Using a screwdriver or the like) to release the clutch. However, when the clutch is released, the
tray drops by its own weight. Be sure to hold the tray with your hand when releasing the clutch.

    2) Remove five screws [3] and remove the grate-shaped upper guide [2].
    FINISHER UPPER GUIDE.JPG
After removing upper guide>RELEASE THE CLUTCH (while holding tray 1) & move up away from lower guide/
Now u need to raise the Tray 2
    >RELEASE THE CLUTCH (while holding tray 2) & MOVE ALL THE WAY UP TO BOTTOM OF TRAY 1 POSITION

IF THERE IS NOT ENOUGH CLEARANCE TO REMOVE LOWER GUIDE/ U MAY NEED REMOVE THE TRAY 1 ALL THE WAY UP & OUT OF RAIL/ THERE ARE TWO STOPPERS > ONE ON FRONT & ONE ON BACK (POSITION SHOWN BELOW)OF TRAY GUIDE RAIL OR BEND THE LOWER GUIDE A LITTLE TO REMOVE IT
    STOPPER.JPG
    Removing the Grate-shaped Lower Guide
    1) Remove ten screws [1] and remove the grate-shaped lower guide [2].
    FINISHER LOWER GUIDE.JPG
U SHOULD NOW HAVE ACCESS TO REPLACE THE NEW UPDATED SENSOR FLAG

When replacing, be careful not to hook the grate-shaped lower guide to the sensor flag arm on the
    delivery side.

Strangely these fingers break many times on IR finishers without causing an ecode.
Yet last week I saw a permanent E540 on an IR Advance caused by these broken fingers.
It had me going for a while.
