    7055

    a woman is having issues with grouping, collating and stapling when she sends print jobs from her desktop. I printed off a job four times from her desktop with the same settings and received a different result every time, sometimes it was stapled, sometimes it wasnt, sometimes one job would be stapled and the other not, and the jobs would almost never actually group together.

    any thoughts?

    i am pretty stumped with this one at the moment so any feed back would be helpful.

    (from what i understand, nobody else in the office is experiencing these issues)

      Be sure the collate box inst checked.
      Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

          Sounds like the exit roller on the finisher need adjusting .Done this on alot of 7055 finishersPages sit on the tray all over the place instead of a tidy sortAnd causes staples to be missed out as paper is skewing as it goes Back in to staple .

                  thanks for the input!looks like this was primarily just a user related issue and i was ble to trouble shoot the problem from her desk top.thanks again.

                      is there any way to adjust the mailbox settings on these machines, so that files automatically delete after they are printed?

                      right now it is set to auto delete after an hour...

                              is it an option that does not exists? its not a big deal, one of the users cant be bothered to name different files before he prints them out, and claims that just manually deleting the files when he is finished is just too much work... even though you literally just have to hit two buttons to do it.

                                          That is how it is done on IR, so it should work for ADVANCE.
