Three times now the machine went into the "green light on but LCD dark" mode. All three times it was the SATA-Flash PCB that needed replacing. I figured it was a power issue, but across the street is another unit just like it - and no problem. I checked the power and it is 117-119 so it is within the +-5%. They are getting a UPS that also has an AVR.
I am begining to think the bad PCB is a symptom of an issue rather than the cause. Canon says they have no reports of this issue (but there are several on the knowledgebase). Power supply? MC1 or MC2?
Ideas/suggestions?
Unit does try to start and does rotation, finisher check.
