The screen on the control panel was black, technician went and reseated memory, started working again but went back to black after about 4 hours. Any ideas?

is the copier connected to a fiery or not ?
if not change the Printer board(surf board)located on the MFC ,if u describe what exactly happened with you will be easy to give you solutions

The copier does have a fiery. The copier was working fine, then touch screen just went black, but the green light is still lit on the control panel showing power is still on. You can turn copier off/on and it will work again for an hour or so, then same thing. We have reseated the memory, boot rom and replaced the power distribution board but still same problem.Comment

i told u that it happened with me the same problem since 1 week ago , change the board located on the MFC ,under the Lan Slot you can remove it and turn the machine on it will work im very sure .Distinguished road makes you jewel in roughComment

Tech cleaned and reseated all boards in the cage. Repl power distribution board and still screen is going blank. Also error history shows E732 and E733 numerous times over the past few weeks.....he inspected cable to make sure it was getting a good connection....any ideas?Comment

Had one doing this and tried various things and it would always reset and run awhile then come back. Tried less and less each time trying to see what would reset it and got down to just tapping on the Fiery box. Replaced Fiery and problem has not returned.Comment
