[Misc] 7055 very slow PDF printing

it takes almost ten minutes to print out a ten page document,

but only PDFs that have been created on the machine via sharescan.

any ideas?

My first guess is that it perhaps has something to with spme basic printer settings... settings/registration>functionsettings>printer>PDF

but i have no idea where to go from there, or if that is even going to be a solution for the problem.

according to the user, the previous canon was also slow at printing these PDFs, they had a xerox machine for about a month and it printed out PDFs almost instantly with no wait, now this new 7065 is slower than even the previous canon.

Had simmler prOblem on ira5051 ,turned out to be network speed setting
try changing it from auto to 10/100 or above.
Also set PDF to print as image .
Worked for our m/cs

I had similar with KonicaMinolta machines. Activating the "Print as an Image" option in the driver made a big difference.

is that a driver setting as well?

the driver is on a server that i don't have access to, and i have to relay the information.

No just on the copier,can't remember where it is but may be in network settings .but it's there somewhere .
