Hole punch question

I have a kmc650 that I am trying to attach a used finisher model fs608 to. It is jamming as soon as it enters the finisher. When I pull the hole punch unit out the plungers are down. I have rotated them so they are all out of the way and when I power back up it jams the same way.

I just had a thought that the machine might not know that there is a hole punch in the finisher. Is there a setting in the service mode I can check to tell the machine what finisher and what option is in it?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I made a mistake. It is a konica minolta. I'm in the wrong forum. My only defense is I am sleep deprived. The baby is not sleeping. I will repost in the konica minolta forum

Does this finisher work on another machine? could be a bad punch unit or board but I would try the entire finisher on another machine first (you said that it was a used finisher correct?)

I have tried it on two machines and it does the same thing on both.
