IR5000 Network Printing Interrupts Walkup Copying

I have multiple Canon IR5000 MFP (w/ eCopy scanning module), all on a network, all settings under the Remote UI appear the same, but two of the 9 copiers are allowing network printing to interrupt walkup copying?

If someone is doing walk-up copying, and someone sends a network print job to the same unit, at any pause in copying (i.e., add more originals in the input tray, remove paper from the output tray, stop to staple...) the network printing interrupts the copying and the person who we thought "had control" now has to wait for a possible 200-page print job to complete before they can continue their walkup copy job.

We have Equitrac cost recovery associated with every copier so a login is required to activate and use walkup copying.
    • Under Custom Common Settings, have set "Priority" for copying at 1, Printing to 2 and Other to 3
    • I have changed the setting "Quiet Down" and "Auto Clear" to match, and set them to 9 minutes, tried 3 minutes and even 1 minute
    • Just to minimize inconvenience, have set Copy output to bin A, network printing to bin B
Regardless of the web-based UI settings, these two copiers are still permitting network printing to interrupt walkup copying during any pause in copying. Any suggestions how we can prevent printing from interrupting copying?

    not sure

not sure of what to do. Is the version up to date? and did you turn off the copier and then back on after making adjustments? Just in case you need to.
do a p-print from the one that is working and compare to the others. also check every setting and compare.

Versions are all the same, but have multiple offices and different techs doing setups; we have had same problem in this office since initial installation, but other offices say it shouldn't be happening and now CIO involved; have reset the printers, have verified versions, have not verified identical settings, but cannot find one particular setting which would have effect on interruption; have set priority 1 to copying, priority 2 for printing priority 3 for other, have not done a pprint but sounds like good next step to coordinate settings comparison with an office which is working as intended.

        weird

don't know how this could play into it but how about the print drivers? ones that work and the ones that don't(copiers) are they the same?
