CIS Replacment on a Canon DR-9080C Scanner

Good Afternoon,

Service call for 3 scanners, Canon DR-9080C.
All have image issues.
Pink vertical lines.
All pink images.

Sounds like CIS unit.
Never changed it.
Someone said it's a 2-3 hr job.
Anyone with experience.?
And he said upper and lower should be replaced at the same time.
