I got a 3rd Canon IR105 (used) and this machine is printing slower that my other 2. Same pdf same M3 Fiery (settings are virtually identicle) and when copying it goes at rated 105 pages BUT when printing it slows down to about 80. Physically I can hear that the paper being pulled from Drawer 1 is not constant - it pauses for about 2 seconds after every 5 to 7 pages. You wouldn't know that unless you got down by the drawer and listened. VERY FRUSTRATING! And I even tried my other M3 Fiery on that machine and it still happens. I even put on a different K3 fFinisher from my other machine, same problem. That is why I think it has to be some setting in Service Mode or something. PLEASE HELP!

It has new tires and that wouldn't matter since copying from same drawer doesn't slow down.Comment

Re: Canoan IR105 printing slower than copying
Either
Do the tedious way of P-print of both iR105 and compare difference.
OR
Easy way out is CLEAR MMI and reboot it. Remember to set back service mode of M3Comment

Re: Canoan IR105 printing slower than copying
Oh man, not good. I did Option 2 and now my M3 Fiery says "Connect Imiage Runner" when rebooting machine and Fiery. It's like they arn't talking anymore! Maybe it's because I doidn't know what you meant by "set back service mode" of the M3. (Also I didn't do option 1 because I didn't understand that one). PLEASE HELP me get back up and running.Comment

Re: Canoan IR105 printing slower than copying
DIREGARD MY PREVIOUS POST, I figured it out. I fond on another post how to reconnect a Firery by changing INT-CNT to "0" then reboost then put to "4" and it was able to re establish connection. AND it is now running at full speed!!! Probably due to your advice of clearing MMI. THANKS I'm so happyComment

Re: Canoan IR105 printing slower than copying
That is great!
Try to do a P-print of the copier. It a 10-20 pages printout of copier's internal factory adjusted settings, each copier are different. Keep it as a backup, just in case do another type of CLEAR will reset a few other more important settings.
Have a good weekendComment

Is your machine at its latest system version? If not upgrade it.
