[Error Code] Canon ir5570 upper fuser roller breaking end clips

I have a 5570 in the field and over the past 6 months I have replaced every part in the fuser. But still the fuser continues to snap the clips at the end of the upper roller. Which leads to error code.

When Istrip it down I always find one of the clips snapped. My boss and I have put the fuser together so many times.

    Any ideas why this is.

It has had new upper and lower, bushes, bearings, shutter, clips (x15) to date.

I thought I was going mad but even after my boss did it, a month later same probelms.

    Any Help anyone??

Canon had a problem with this and redesigned the rollers. How old are the rollers you're putting in? Maybe they've been on the shelf a while and are the old version?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

I am not aware of a new upper fixing roller, however the lower roller has been improved and comes with bearings and clips already fitted.

        Points to note when servicing:
The ball bearing is lightly press-fitted to the new-type pressure roller, and cannot be detached.

you didn't mention changing the upper roller, and gears. You should.

            Hello everyone

The pressure roller is a "vital" item in the fixing assembly. Take care of it.
