IPF 9000 load maintenance cartridge error

Hi guys;

Have a problem which i need some guidance on. Our ipf9000 is now saying there is no maintenance cartridge loaded....the problem, we just installed a new one. I tried starting it in service mode to reset, but it wont get past the error to display the message....any thoughts??

Reported to work so far with Canon iPF5000, 6100, 8000, 9000 and iPF700

Teckat, when i start in service mode, it doesnt get to the menu screen before it says no MC, which locks it up. I will try re-installing the firmware later today. Perhaps it has been corrupted somehow?
