Printing preferences on Mac with OS X Lion

I am installing a new iR Adv C2020 on a network with PC's and Mac's.
I am using the UFR II ver 2.70 for the PC with Win 7 / XP and UFR II ver 2.30 for the Mac with OS X Lion.
The problem is ,I cannot change the default printing preferences from 2 sided prints to single side prints from the Mac.
On the PC's it is okay but on the Mac, there is a hint .pdf ,but it does not work at all.
I appreciate your help.

On the MAC try setting the CUPS preferences.

Use a web browser to navigate to http://localhost:631/printers Select your printer, set the default options and save. (You'll need the administrator's credentials.)
