5185 Service mode

Just getting back to Canons, I'm brain dead Customer has dept id and management setup on a IR5185 and can't get in either web or from the copier.

Any help on this? I think I need to go into service mode but Add 2/8 doesn't get it on this one. ???

on the new canons add. function 2and 8 at same time and then add.function
if that does not work try add function 4and 9 then add.functions
it can be changed in service mode on the new machines...

If department codes are enable you have to enter one to go into service mode. You cna try holding 2&8 while turning it on however.

Hold down 28 while Main power up should get you into service mode.
Reset user code and power down.
