NG report #0018 Canon Laser Class 710

    NG report #0018 Canon Laser Class 710

    Hello forums.

    Our fax machine, Canon Laser Class 710 has all of a sudden lost its connection somehow.

    Been getting a NG report #0018

    The weird thing is that the fax machine was working fine yesterday.
    Then as of this morning, everytime we try to send/receive fax, we get an error report.

    Also, I plugged a regular phone line into the phone jack the fax machine was using, and was getting no dial tone.
    The thing is, the fax machine is in a office, and I do believe we have multiple phone lines.

    What are some possible causes that could cause this?

    You answered your own question, your fax must have a working phone line to be able to fax/receive.
    Testing 1-2-3, testing, testing. Is this thing on?
