Re: Scangear Scanning Issue
Hi Teckat,
Thank you for your suggestions.
I have installed Scangear V2.30 and got the same error messages as outlined in my original post. I uninstalled and re-installed V2.30, but this made no difference.
I also uninstalled V2.30 and installed V2.71, but the scanner is not discovered. I switched off the firewall and also tried "specify with address" option, but the scanner was not discovered.
I note that V2.30 is a 32 bit driver whereas Windows 7 is 64 bit, could this be the reason why V2.30 is not working? I suppose we will have to wait until Canon release 64 bit Scangear.
As the V2.71 is for colour machines, it didn't work for me.
Any further help will be appreciated.
