    ir 5185i can use fiery?

Es posible acondicionarle fiery a una irc 5185i; ya que noto que esta maquina no cuenta con salida para el cable de comunicacion con el fiery.

believe u mean set to "3" for H1

Converting an 'i' model to use an imagePASS H1 v2

        After setting IMG-CONT to 3,
Amd powering down and installing the Open Interface PCB and booting back up, the unit should automatically disable the UFRII / PCL Print Kit-H1, recognize the imagePASS H1 v2.0 and be completely compatible.

****In some cases, an additional step is needed.
An MNCON Clear may be required to complete the installation, ONLY IF U HAVE ISSUES WITH INSTALL

In order to connect the Fiery to its supported 'i' model copier, you will need to order the appropriate Open Interface Board.
        OPEN INTERFACE BOARD - 8408A004AA

        * Please be aware that all imageRUNNER devices involved must be at the latest version system software for this to work. In addition, when connected to the imagePASS/ColorPASS, you will not be able to use the internal Canon UFRII/PCL printer kit.

If you get a "please wait" message that does not go away an MMI clear may be needed. print out user data lists first.

Don't forget the crossover and interface cables. They tend to get separated from the Firies during storage and shipment.

(Since you are asking about an H1, and it's no longer current, it's a safe assumption that the Fiery is either used and/or has been in storage for a long time.)

While you can get a crossover cable very easily, the same can't be said for the "SCSI-like" interface cable.

              O...

No te olvides deloscables cruzadosy la interfaz.Ellostienden asepararse de lasFiriesdurante el almacenamiento y

(preguntando acerca deun H1, yya no esactual, esel Fierybienutilizado y / oha estado almacenadodurante mucho tiempo.)

Mientras queusted puede conseguirun cable cruzadocon mucha facilidad,lo mismo no puededecirse de la"SCSI-como"cable de interfaz.
