    ir 2520 network isue.

    hello my friends, we instaled an ir2520 with network printer. but when we give ping command there was no replay. some time very rare we can take one or two print. that customer have other brand copier. it is working fine. we gave an ir2020 for stand-by. it also working fine. the defective ir2520 is working with out any problem in our workshop. i am very cofused . what will i do? any idia? can any one have solution for this isue?

      IP conflict.

      Replace network cable.
      Practice makes perfect

          Would u mind to show us about your IP setting on your PC and Machine?
          PS: don't use DHCP IP setting..
          Change Network cable, Check HUB/SWITCH

              dear friends i changed network cable, but there is nothing. still now same problem. other machines working fine. our stand by machine ir2020 also fine. custmer urge me to solve the problem of his ir2520 . i am not experiance in IT side. so please some body give remedy for this. advance thanks.

                  Are the lights on the NIC lit ? Can you ping the IR 2520 ? Have you tried changing to 10 base t?

                      yes the NIC lights working. i also put ethernet type 10 base t. there is no improvement. if i shall relode system software it will be ok? but i have no system software for ir2520 series . if any one help me to get this , i am ready to pay . thanks!

                                  Hi,

                                  Let roll back to the part where iR2020 works. What is the IP address and the Gateway IP? Power it OFF then use it IP and Gateway IP into your problem copier. Any different?

                                      the so called defective 2520 works at another location offsite >>

                                              Yes, I think Alex raise a good point on the IP ranging. Do user data list print out and check if that is ON but without any IP being set.

                                              Like Alex had also advise, best to do CLEAR ALL and start from scratch. But make sure you had backup of machine internal settings PLUS your Custpmer data
