ir c5185 print and copy quality problem

We have a 5185 that was working great all of a sudden the docs started coming out blurred. Internal prints, print jobs and copy jobs all come out blurred. i have replaced transfer assembly, all drums and fuser assembly. When i print out the gradation adjustment sheets there are no crisp lines and the colors are not solid. Any ideas? Thanks everyone

    Try these :

1 - Go to level 2 in service mode , Function , Clear , RegClear. Then sw/off/on. If no good
2 - Level 2 Again Function , laser then highlight the colour and ok. This will put lasers back at default. sw/on/off.
3 - Do a P print and then open front door and do a DC Con Dump , then re-imput the laser and registration settings back in.

If all of the above doesn't work there is a manual set up for the lasers but normally if the whole ITB and drums have been done this should put back to spec. Check your running v3 firmware, at least 93 on the MN.

    good luck
Oh...... I can't copy at the moment then ? !!!!!!

I had to clear the DC con the other day on one to get it back. Be sure to do a P-Print!

Thanks a million Paul 75. My imput numbers for all the lasers were all at 0 and i set them back to the reference #'s from the p print that came with the copier. The laser settings were the only one's that changed?. Again thanks
