A tech called me with an odd problem. He has a Jamex 6557 vend station on an IR2525. To set this up you'd normally set Copier-option-acc to 1 (coin) an Option Acc CC-SPSW to 1. The copier is disabled and the insert coin message is on the display until money is used. If the patron selects more copies than credit the IR2525 feeds 1 extra sheet each time. The attached vend device is only a simple 4 wire key-counter interface so there is only a relay on 2 wires to bring the copier ready and an opto-isolator on the other 2 to detect a voltage pulse from the copier. Once the vend station opens the enable relay disabling the copier, it's up to the copier as to what happens next. I had the tech check with a meter and he said the disable signal from the vend station happens when it should (Patron runs out of money) but then an extra sheet is fed. The tech tells me the IR2525 firmware is up to date and he wasn't aware of any copier settings that would change this behavior.
Is anyone else seeing this?
Have I missed a copier setting?
