thanks, do you have to take the side door off to get to paper feed assembly.

Not sure what you are trying to do, but you do need to remove the Right Cover (rear) and Right Door to remove either Pick-up Unit 1 or 2. If you are trying to apply the vertical feed roller upgrades, both pick-up units will need to come out.

I strongly suggest you convince your boss to spring for a service manual and parts manual.
