This happens when printing from the computer. And it is on standard documents, no money.

check all the connectors on MAIN CONTROLLER pcb.

there is a IC1015 (CHIP) that overheats and causes similar issues

        IC1015

        JPEG compression
        JPEG decompression
        Resolution conversion
        Rotation
        Binary processing
        MMR compression

In addition to the wierd copies, now this machine is also shutting down (screen blanking out but power light staying on) customer has to turn off/on, then remove the jam.
We have replaced the Memory, Main Controller and Power distribution board......any other ideas?

            1- defective Boot ROM
            2- defective Control Panel
3- Fuse Pcb (known problem in this model) fuses must read exact voltage (u can't test for continuity because low voltage on fuse will still read good)
4- check the Main Controller Fan
5- defective Sub Main Controller ( this pcb causes many issues when it starts to go bad)
6- Ensure that the voltage between the neutral and ground poles is 1/2 a volt or less. If the voltage is higher than 1/2 a volt, an electrician needs to look at and correct the outlet.
7- inspect the Main Controller PCB LED101, if the LED is OFF, then replace the SRAM PCB (FG3-3669-000) which is mounted on the Sub Main Controller PCB.
