IR 5070 LCD out of calibration

I have a fairley new IR 5070 that suddenly went out of calibration. The button has to be hit about a 1/2 inch under the actual button. Is there any way to reset connectors or something that will fix it?

I can not do the calibration under touch button. I can get into service mode all the way to thouchckh but I can't get the ok to go being that it is in the lower right hand corner. I can't hit "under" it.

I just had same thing today and had to replace touch panel. I found out that the touch panel is the same for many lines. I took one off a 3570.. Just an idea! Good luck!

remove & re-seat connector J1018 on the Main Controller PCB.

COPIER > FUNCTION > PANEL
LCD-CHK ---Use it to check for missing dots in the LCD.

Procedure
1) Select the item, and press the OK key to start. See that the front of the touch panel starts to go on in the following order: white, black, red, green, blue.
2) Press the Stop key to end the operation.

TOUCHCHK ---Use it to adjust the coordinates of the analog touch panel.

Procedure
- Use it to match a specific point of the touch panel and its coordinates on the LCD.
- If you have replaced the LCD assembly, be sure to execute this service mode item.
1) Select [TOUCH CHECK] to highlight, and press the OK key.
2) Press the 9 + symbols that appear on the touch panel to make adjustments.

That is my problem, I can not hit the OK key because it is in the lower right corner. Out of range of the touch calibration.

Try to take out the LCD screen and clean it all around then put it back. It work for me sometimes but mostly not.

You might need to change the LCD screen if the problem still the same .

That is my problem, I can not hit the OK key because it is in the lower right corner. Out of range of the touch calibration.

I took the rear cover off of the copier today to address what I thought was the DC Controller. It has six color dots on it. The connectors were numbered in the 100's not the 1,000's

Where is the Main Controller PCB?
