    [Jamming] canon 8095 jams

    Hi Guys,

got a jamming issue on a canon 8095 PRO. The paper will feed down into the inversion (turnaround) area and when it is supposed to be fed back up it stops and throws up a jam. code 0113 (sensor 36 delay).

This is single sided, double sided works ok every time. cant change to face up due to the print set up on site (dont ask haha!!)

    any ideas or pointers?

    cheers in adavnce

Mabawser, Did you find out what the problem was? I have exactly the same fault on a 8085 i visited today. Fault disappeared after 2 hours, but returned later in the day.
    Does anyone have any ideas?

add an extra wrap to the spring for the flag for PS 35 >
which is just upstream from PS 36 when using the face down delivery method.

Caution: If this solution does not fix the 0113 jam, it may cause a 0112 jam. If the 0112 jam occurs after adding an extra wrap it will be required to remove the extra wrap.

Face Down Delivery is Jamming with a Jam Code of 0113
Face up delivery and duplexing work fine..
Solenoid SL5 and the delivery reversal flapper operation, seems to be working OK. ??
      Replace the Reverse motor M13

Check to see if the Damper (FC8-7236-000), is installed. The damper is located on the Reverse Paper Delivery Assembly, Figure 351, of the 8105 Part Catalog. It has been found, if the damper is missing, it may lead to 0113 jam codes. The damper is illustrated in the following image:

        Hi Macuk,

Yes fixed the fault, it was the reverse delivery assy. Its a bit of a fidgity job to get out. Had to fit the full lot, motor, drive assy. The thing is I couldnt find anything physically wrong with any of it other that it was slightly tight when turning but no matter how much cleaning and lubricating it still didnt work.

        have fun

Thanks for the info Mabawser, Will order the parts asap. Did you also get 0213 jams as well as 0113?
Also big thanks to you Teckat. I checked for the damper and that was in place and I also tried the spring on ps36 but got 0112 so I took the extra wrap off again.

Cant remember exactly the jams codes. definatly got 0113. I had changed the full side part from another machine that sat next to this one and it didnt make a difference so doubt it will be the damper. As i said its a bit of a pain to get it in and out due to wiring and harness's.

let us know how you get on.

              cheers
