    Compare/contrast IR105/IR105+/IR7105/IR7095/IR8105

I was wondering some differences, similarities and parts availabilities on these models.

I'm fairly knowledgeable of the ins and outs of the old style guts and finishers on the 550/600/7200/8500/105 series styles.

To me the 7105 looks pretty close to the 105 and the 7095 insides seem pretty similar to the 105. The 8105 looks like a different animal to me.

Are parts going to be around on the older styles for a while yet? How different are the 7095 and 8105 from the 105/7105?

I was just getting used to the Canon service mode in those series, which wasn't the worst but I never thought it was the most friendly layout...how is service mode in the 7105/7095/8105? More technician friendly or does it still use that line by line code style of mostly zeroes and ones?

As an independent service person are parts and supplies very readily available on the 7105/7095/8105?

Thanks in advance. (no pun intended)

IR7095 is the same as IR7105 except the print speed (95 and 105 cpm), the paper handling mechanism id similar to IR105/105+/8500.
IR8105 is a very different machine with advance technology, it is called IR Advance 8105.

The 8105's updated service mode has an information feature that gives service manual info on an error code or other service mode items by just highlighting the code or item and pressing the green i button at the bottom of the screen. Very helpful.
