Can't get Canon irC 2880 to send emails via SMTP Gateway

Hi Everyone,

I have just successfully configured IIS to run a local SMTP Relay for the purpose of forwarding emails from MFP devices that do not support the TLS protocol (which is required by Exchange Online). I did this by following the instructions here:

I have tested the SMTP server by following the instructions here:

How to test Windows 2000 IIS SMTP services manually

However I am unable to configure my Canon irC 2880 ImageRunner to forward emails via the relay.
I am at a loss, and any pointers are welcomed.
