    [Jamming] IRA C5030 FF90 JAMS

Does anyone have any clue what is going on with these jams? Aside from doing the usual cutting of wire ties, firmware etc, i have seen a few machines throwing out FF90 jams. On one occassion we swapped out the whole internal finisher as nothing would seem to resolve this issue. Canon does not have any useful info imo...

Cusa had a program that attempted to resolve issues with the A-1 finisher by pro actively sending out units replaced by technicians BEFORE they became problems. This is a communication sequence error jam with the finisher. This jam code is displayed to prompt the user to open and close the door. Recover by opening and
closing the door, or turning the main power switch off and back on. The firmware remedy changes the timing of the gripper, the problem stems from the machine not recovering from sleep mode during intermittent jobs printed.

As previously mentioned by T.T , make sure that you update the firmware as this will resolve the timing issues giving you the FF90 jam.
        DC 65.03
        MN 69.01
        FIN A1 15.01

DC has to be 60 + at least and the finisher has to at least 13.01.
Oh...... I can't copy at the moment then ? !!!!!!
