convert irc to clc

hi people, have got customer with irc4580i which was put in as upgrade to clc3220-customer now wants the rip-can it be fitted retrospectively?

they are expecting this to be done as we converted their irc3220 to clc3220(ie just put the rip on back and pulled the surf board).

but canon uk won't commit so we don't want to mislead the client.

any thoughts?

Yes. Using the imagepass H-1 and the ro-b pcb. This disables the onboard print kit. The part # is fm7-7430-000.
