have a canon irc5045 can't ping it and can't ping out from ping feature, i can connect to its cable and ping other devices and connect to internet not familiar with this series so wondering if anyone could lead me into the right direction of what to try???

ok, can do an internal ping ok 127.0.0.1 but when i boot machine in fixed ip i can not ping from laptop suspect bad main control 1 but was looking to see if someone was more familiar with these new canons as my experience is only with the ir 550/600's any ideas?? thanks for looking
