I have a IR-105 and an ImagePass M1.
The computer I had it installed on (Canon came and did installation) is having problems with the fan and is basically dying. So I'm trying to install
the setup on a different computer. With the exact same WindowsXP that the computer it works on has.
I can print from the M1 to the 105. Config pages print perfectly. Those 2 are connected.
I can ping the M1 from my computer. If I unplug the crossover cable from the M1 then the notification pop up appears on my PC screen that says network cable is unplugged. So the M1 and the computer are linked and communicating with each other.
Then when I send anything to print, a printer test page or something in Notepad. Nothing. It sits and then errors out that it failed to print. It won't go to the M1. "RIP" never shows up.
I don't know what I'm missing. If feel like it's one thing that really stupid, but I'm not seeing it.
- Exact same drivers are installed as both computers.
- I disabled all firewalls, so it can't be that.
- Networks and workgroups I labeled the same.
- IP of M1 is exact.
Any ideas on what it can be?
