Re-seat the ROM Dimm on the Image Processor board. If after re-seating the ROM Dimm on the Image Processor the Control Panel still displays 'ROM ERROR', try replacing the Image Processor ROM Dimm.

        Thanks for the quick reply.
I tried several times but get the same result.
In the catalog I got this number: FG6-9560-000 - DIMM ASSY.
I will speak with the client and will likely order.

        Thank you.

          Re: Canon iR1210 "ROM ERROR"

Hi, I changed Image Processor ROM Dimm, but now I get "System Error E247" message.

In this topic I found this:

          http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ca...tem-error.html

          Error Code: E245, E246, E247, E354, E350, E355
Cause: Error with Serial Number PCB or Counter PCB or Main Controller PCB
Remarks: Please complete online form to order Controlled Parts via Dealer Net or Canon Intranet, and send to Information Management Group.

I think in this situation makes no sense to continue repairs.
