Re: Canon IR3100c blank screen
Ensure that the voltage between the neutral and ground poles is 1/2 a volt or less.
If the voltage is higher than 1/2 a volt, an electrician needs to look at and correct the outlet.
u mean a iRC3100 !!
do u have extra memory to swap ?
Is LCD backlight lit ? or is panel completely blacked out ?
power off/ open back> remove>re-seat boot rom
check all connectors on DC Controller( re-seat all )
did u remove LCD panel to check it's connectors ??
may sound stupid> but did u check the contrast button on control panel**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.** -

do u have access to any memory for testing ?
try this>
power off printer>open back>unplug HDD>power it up
see if LCD comes on with splash screen?progress bar ???
other checks>>>>
-Remove the expansion memory if it is installed and check whether the captioned symptom is resolved. If not, go to the next step without installing it.
-Remove and insert the SDRAM and BootROM, and check whether the symptom is resolved each time. Also, make sure that the HDD connector is securely fitted.
-In order to check whether the original slot on the Main Controller PCB is faulty, remove the SDRAM and insert it into another slot (for the expansion memory), and check whether the symptom is resolved**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**Comment
