IR3235N

Hi everybody,
I have already installed several IR3235N machines but recently I visited a customer that has an IR3235N and I noticed that its control panel has a USB port on its left side . What is this for?

forgive my ignorance as I did not install that machine

On a standard machine all you can use it for is firmware updates.

If you buy USB Memory Connectivity Kit-A1 you can do the following,

Enables support of USB removable media devices into the USB port on the control panel to print data stored in media, save scanned data or data stored in Mail Box to media, etc. PDF, JPEG, and TIFF file formats are supported.
