          It's like imageRUNNER 1025 (Canon U.S.A. : Office Equipment : imageRUNNER 1025).
I remove and re-seat boot. When switch on the copier, LCD become black and main motor rotate for few second.
I try short-circuit JP141 header (image processor PCB) and switch on copier, to activate Download Mode, but copier don't switch on.

            try this ___
Press and hold the 2 key only on the ten key pad and then power on the copier.
This puts the machine into the download mode. The screen will display Initializing.... for a few moments and then display Download Standby.
This method of getting into download mode can be used to recover a failed upgrade or to try to flash a machine that will not boot up and come to ready.

used on 1023 series/ may function on yours/

unit must be on before procedure- With the unit powered on, short the two pins at JP141 on the Image Processor Board. This can be done with a screwdriver or an alligator clip. This will reset the machine so system software can be re-flashed.

When upgrading to ver.60.03, you do not need to perform All Clear, so all user data remains. Therefore, upgrade the version using normal procedures. U need to do the BOOT ROM FIRST when u get in download mode again Note: Before using System Software v60.03, make sure to install the BootROM ver.60.03 first. 2. Make sure to turn OFF and ON the main power between each download. 3. Using Service Support Tool, install System Software ver.60.03. 4. Turn off and on the device power.

re-seat connector J318 on the Image Processor and connector J1701 on the operation panel. did you>>>>try this ___ Press and hold the 2 key only on the ten key pad and then power on the copier.
