    Universal send issue

    Good day guys,

I just want to get opinion from you guys about this issue. Now's days mostly of our Canon machine are equiped with Universal Send feature. (Scan to folder through Window SMB).

My question is it this feature you will face a intermittent problem sometimes it go through and sometimes it will not if the customer network enviroment with Wi Fi network. This is especially customer own a notebook with wi fi which there want to scan a document to their folder will experience this problem.

From the machine in the SEND if we browse from the machine will result you sometimes you may see the computer but sometimes you cannot see it at all. I have ask several technician and there give different answer and some will say is not stable scan to folder in Wi Fi enviroment. For print no problem.

    Any comment ?

      Hi,

There is no true & tested way to resolved your issue. My experience, once was to fix the copier ethernet speed from AUTO DETECT to 10 Half duplex, that problem did not came back.

Do bear in mind, that you have to test it out the different of combo of 10 Half ; 10 Full cos it will also affect your print response.
