Canon IR 3300 scan problem

I have a customer that we just set up the scanner.
When they scan using microsoft word or any other scanner software the image gets reduced. I have tried to look in the software but i am thinking it might be the canon that has an issue. happens from more then 1 terminal.

i have the same issue with ms word(image reduced), but it works fine with Acobat pro. i did not find any setting to change it in ms word.

I just talked to Canon about this issue and they say there is nothing you can do. But you can try increasing the resolution in network scangear.
