PAPER JAM IN IR 4570

An ir 4570 machine shows paper jam while copying jam type- door open sensor no.--ps12, ps18, ps22, ps9c any one pls help to fix this problem thanks in advance

JAM= 0B00
The jam code 0B00 is not listed in the service manual and indicates that the right door has been opened while the machine is making a copy.
The most common causes are door and lower right door related.
There is a remote signal that runs through the HVT that shuts off power to the HVT if the door is opened, if the signal is lost during copying the jam code 0B00 is the symptom.

In a few cases the HVT / FM2-0261-000 was the cause of the jam code

or
replacing PS22 Front Cover Sensor (FK2-0149-000) corrected the problem.

A faulty SW2, "Right Door Switch", FK2-0384-000/can also cause this jam code. Check the switch for proper activation.


or After checking the operation of SW2, PS18 and PS22 it was determined that the intermittent Jam Code of 0B00 was caused by the Grounding Plate not making good contact with the Registration Roller. After re-forming the Grounding Plate the imageRUNNER no longer produced a 0B00 jam code.

same problem paper jam
i try re setting the grounding plate but still i had that jam.
is there a possibility that the cause of jam is low power or fluctuation of power source?
i need to fix it asap......

Make sure you have done the right door upgrade or using foam. Make sure you have the metal flags over the registration sensor. It can wear down and cause strange jams. Make sure you updrade the little black pads under the duplex flapper . On right swing out door. New ones are white and stiffer foam. 2 small pads. make sure its from all cassettes. Worn out feed assembly can cause strange jams too.

i have had problem where door only just activated switch. you should check how far door closes before copier registers closure. you could move metal flag on door so it pushes further into machine

p027 bit 0 should be 0 closed (1 is open)
P029 bit 3 should be 1 (closed) (0 is open)

Just watch them for a minute, move the machine around while you're checking it. If the sensor is flaking out it will go between 0 and 1

My IR 3045 Do the same
After 1-2 Pages, the Paper stops in the middle of the fixing unit. when i removed the paper it is folded like an accordion.

I tried all 4 trays and did the same thing
Paper Orientation: Portait

I did notice that when i place the paper in Landscape it works much better but will jam after couple of copies and some of the copies have fold in the middle. so it goes out of the machine shorter than other copies.
Error: 1017, 0202, 0102, 0201

All sensors checked, - not sticking
right door flapper check
Fixing unit rolls fine

When the paper comes out with Z-Fold / Accordion / 3 Fold and jams after several copies with error 0108 Delay in PS14, it means that the fuser film is not rolling with the pressure roller.

Replace fixing film, Remove the old grease (IMPORTANT), Apply Grease and replace film.
