    [Error Code] Canon IR6870Ci with an error e000021-0001

    Hi to everybody,I have a canon 6870 that has an error e000021-0001. Please help as I have no idea what's wrong with this one. And please let me know how to reset the code so that I can use the machine again.Thank you very much in advance.Regards.Cesar

      E021-0001 (developing rotary rotation error)
      indicates that any of the following 2 conditions exits:1. the home position flag cannot be detected.
      2. an error occurred in the intervals at which the home position flag is detected while the developing rotary is rotating.


      If you get this error at power up, check to see that you have 30VDC present at J1130 of DC controller. If not, go to DC/DC converter pcb2 and insure you have 24vdc going into J123. If not there, you will have to go to J115 DC relay pcb and check pin 8. If not there, you should start by replacing DCpower supply relay pcb.

      also check if one of the units is locking up_________________
      Check by removing the color developer assemblies and turning each one by hand. Replace the defective color developer assembly
