Countermeasure to Minimize Paper Misalignment in the Finisher
    Products Affected:----Serial Numbers Affected:
    Booklet Finisher-A1----To Be Announced
    Booklet Finisher-D1----To Be Announced
    Booklet Finisher-F1----To Be Announced
    Saddle Finisher-AF2----DWQ00001 ~ DWQ10749
    Saddle Finisher-AJ2----HLX00001 ~ HLX01265

Misalignment of paper may occur due to breakage of the Tension Spring in the Edge Stopper Assembly.
The Tension Spring in the Edge Stopper Assembly becomes broken because it was attached in a twisted state. When the Spring breaks, the top and bottom of the Edge Stopper Assembly become imbalanced. When this occurs, the result is the paper cannot stop at the correct position. This is what causes the paper misalignment.
    note:
There is not a new part number for the Tension Spring. The only thing that has changed is the method of attachment>>>>>>see pdf for procedure
