Canon ir 4570 error code E191

checked out this error code said it was a communication problem from power supply to mainboard. Should i just start replacing boards or is there a possible easier less expensive fix. would appreciate any advice ty

Does this machine have an internal (S1) Finisher?

If so, remove the finisher and check the wiring from HV PSU to Main Controller. The yellow cable sometimes becomes trapped behind the finisher during the installation process, causing E191 errors.

It can also be a pinched wire from j404 on the HVPCB to J4001 on the rear frame. But Dan is probably right, I've done that myself.

I had E191 yesterday in an iR3035, and the problem was a contact error at the finisher S1 cable.
