hey there,

i dont think u might need to change the HDD. did u try going into printer setup mode and try to clear server?
after which set you print queue to 2 or 3.
That worked for me.

EFI Network Print Boards E677 error
In this case, pressing S1 - the Reset button on the EFI Network Print board cleared out the fault and resolved the service issue. After pressing the Reset button, the imageRUNNER would receive and process network print jobs properly.

The Reset button - S1, is located near the bottom left corner of the EFI Network Print board. Press the Reset button while power is applied, then power off the imageRUNNER, wait ten seconds, then turn the imageRUNNER back on. When the imageRUNNER comes Ready, send over a network print job and test the operation.

If the imageRUNNER malfunctions again for a network print job, the Print board Software, the Print board Hard Disk Drive or the EFI Network Print board itself could be faulty.




imageRUNNER 330 / 400 E677 error, With multiple sub\codes on the ImageRUNNER 330 / 400 Series Control Panel There are two possible instances of this error message:
1. When the board boots up, the board experiences a wait and then reports an E677 (with either sub code 0001, 0002, or 0003).
2. While printing, the board fails and reports an E677 (sub code 0004).


When the printer board is installed on the imageRUNNER 330 / 400, it communicates with the image processor board via its connection to the System Motherboard PCB. The copier low voltage power supply provides power to the printer board via its connector J8201. When the copier is powered up, communication takes place between the copier IP and the printer board.
Communication Failure at this point will most likely cause the copier Error code E677 with a sub-code of 0001,0002 or 0003.
This lack of communication can be caused by a bad cable, a non seated card, or corrupted installation of System Software.
In this case, try to format the Hard Drive and reload System Software. If the problem continues, try replacing the printer board. The printer board H1/K1 can be sent to Nationwide or Hytec for repair.
An error code E677 with a sub-code of 0004 however, may be caused by either an overheating CPU or low voltage being supplied to the printer board.

Note: Since error codes E677 were reported frequently with different sub-codes, Canon decided that all boards be screened. After the screening a colored dot was placed on the board near the AUI port. As of now, a Yellow dot means that it has passed screening and should work. Eventually the board will be modified and the dot will be Red showing the board has modification and has passed screening.



Could also be defective APC power supply, FG6-0516-000.

i already change the ram dimm .but same error display. how i reinstalla the pdl software sir

Identifying Which Printer Board is Installed on an imageRUNNER 330 / 400
Is there is a printer board installed in it ????

There are 4 different printer boards available for the imageRUNNER 330 / 400. On each printer board assembly there is a small white rectangular sticker on the metal. This sticker has a bar code and a variety of information. The information included is the EFI part number, Serial Number, Date of Manufacture, and Description. The Description will be something like 'Ship Group, PS/PCL, US English, Erebus'. It may, however, be truncated. There should be enough information there for identification. Here are the specifics for each of the 4 printer boards:
Printer Board Model: Description on Sticker: Network Multi-PDL Printer Board-H1 PS/PCL Erebus Network Printer Board-K1 PCL Erebus Network Multi-PDL Printer Board-P1 PS/PCL Aravali Network Printer Board-R1 PCL Aravali You can identify the Network Multi-PDL Printer Board-H1 (PS/PCL) and the Network Printer Board-K1 (PCL only) by the serial number.
The Network Multi-PDL Printer Board-H1 serial number starts with a 'K'.
The Network Printer Board-K1 serial number starts with a 'J'.

If this Label has EREBUS on it is a H1/K1 type of Network Printer PCB.
If this Label has ARAVALI on it is a P1/R1 type of Network Printer PCB. IP must be at least version 60.10 and DC Con Version 25.01.

You need the PDL DOWNLOADER TOOL/ U MUST HAVE YOUR FIRMWARE

I am selected ( 4. Install software) canon ir 400 Printer Bios software ( H1K1_V21 ) and ( H1K1_20 ) pdl downloader 100% parallel completed

Result : Bad file type (or) functionality error
