Windows 7 scanning set up issues

Hi Guys,

I have a IRC 2880i that needs to be set up on Windows 7, I have never had an issue with Xp / Vista, but windows 7 does not seem to let share folders be seen using SMB?

Ideas please,

Try turning OFF the Windows Firewall, it has a shared folder named Public.

give the "Everyone" user/group full read/write in the Sharing tab.

Hi,
Check this,
Open new folder on desktop and share .Folder name is Scanner.

OPEN SEND-FILE-WIN (SMB)



HOST NAME \\ enter computer name\USERS
FOLDER PATH \WIN7\DESKTOP\Scanner
USER NAME enter for example 6
PASSWORD enter for example 6

HOST SEARCH OR BROWSE

surely help you out... unless you hav antivirus installed in your pc... then you hav to disable or allow machine ip in the antivirus setting
