Ah, another one. First post and he's asking for something. Doesn't even have the courtesy to say 'please'

I think this comment and others in the thread are a little unfair.
Ever scratched your head with a problem and in desperation googled for an answer?

Thats how I recently found this forum and signed up not just to take help, but also to pay something back into it and intend to be long term, contributing member.

I also found other forums at the same time and must say, the tone here in places is a little offputting.

Come on guys...we are all supposed to be helping each other!

These people aren't here to give help. They come and ask for something. No more. You give them help, and when they need it again, they'll be back. They are not here to help you. It's not just the guy who started this thread either. There are a lot of these people. Most are foreigners, they only know enough English to ask for something and they don't say please or thank you.

Just click on their names and see their 'other' posts. All of them are requests for YOU to do something for them. And nary a 'please' or 'thank you' to be found.

                  SST What a tempest!

So, have to tell you some facts!

_ very poor english i won't contest, just hope anybody can understand me
_ not a tech: yes! just mathematic and informatic teacher whith the charge of a 300 PC network .Is it a fault to register to an open forum?
_My intention is not to take the job of a tech, and i only thought to be enough competent for reloading system on my personnal copier (so i can do my jobs during this easter week-end!). As someone says, i can break it more and then give more money to a tech!
_Guilty of a lack of courtesy : surely! (Scratching my head, i didn't see nothing but my problem and solutions...).I apologize
_ Won't pay back any help!: May be! i don't know future, but it is my way of life to help as far as i can and i work in a domain ( mathematics) where sharing knowledge is a rule.

Kind regards to all of you.
