You can adjust DENS or DEVELOP to darken or lighten the prints or copies

              COIPER>ADJUST>DEVELOP

There is no toner save option on this model.

It is not recommended to alter the value in the DEVELOP section in service mode...
you might get e064 if your value is too low or high....

hav you try to replace drum unit, toner tank, n transfer roller?
these are the main cause for faulty output..

is this happen in copy mode n print mode?
if only print mode... go the Printer Setting n turn off Toner Save option..
by the way.. do u hav the correct procedure to used ccd-adj,white me, pd-dens, pd-me

It is in copy mode and that to normally it is good. The problem is whenever I use to dark the content for poor copy only. I have done ccd-adj,white me, pd-dens, pd-me as I have been advised in my previous thread. I placed 10 white sheets on copy board press the CCD operation until it is ok. Then i replaced with another 10 white sheets and start the white me, After that I started PD dense without removing 10 sheets I placed the test paper obtained in Pd dense as per the instruction vertically and turn the PD Me until it showed me ok. I have checked OEM drum fuse assembly. Finally my problem is how to get good quality if the original copy is in poor copy. when you try to darken a poor original copy on glass> you will usually have dark background the printed copy/

the light to dark adjustment on control panels is a waste of time
a good original will result in a good copy if all is ok with printer
