I replaced the yellow drum and cleaning blade due to a line on the copies. The line is gone, but now all copies have a yellow background. I re-checked everything and I cannot see what I did wrong. I also ran the "auto gradation correction" which did not fix the problem. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

when was the last time u did a full dev.change ?
is it noticed on copies and Prints ??--
issue below/ have seen a few times/i even created it sometimes
This problem can be caused by a bad drum ground.
In some case's the grounding tab on the inside of the drum is not making a good contact with the drum shaft. With a spring hook, it may be reformed to make a better contact with the drum shaft.
If Internal Test Print PG5 for Yellow shows a yellow background in the void areas.
could be the HVT for Yellow/Magenta= Bias output could be failing on the Yellow side of the HVT.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.** -

Follow up: I re-installed drum and cleaning blade and retested. All is good now. I am not sure what went wrong yesterday, but today it worked fine. Thanks for all the help.Comment
